Still coming to terms with the offense tacking on runs when they still had a lead. You don’t see it very often from this team, so when it does happen, you have to pinch yourself a bit. It’s a beautiful thing when it happens. They should try doing it more often.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- Even if this season hasn’t gone according to plan, this team still isn’t out of it just yet.
MLB news:
- Sixto Sanchez is out for the year with shoulder surgery. Don’t hug those prospects too tight.
- The sticky stuff crackdown has done pretty much exactly what you think it was going to do, which is great for baseball.
- Trevor Bauer probably isn’t going to be coming back right away when his leave ends on Friday.
- Speaking of Bauer, Dave Stewart ain’t happy with how the Dodgers have handled the whole situation.
- Prior to trying to trade him, the Marlins will try and extend Starling Marte. They better raise that offer a bit though.
