There isn’t much to say. It’s raining and depressing, so click on some links to read about baseball today. It’ll make you happier.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- An article about how much blame a manager should be getting. I’m not sure how I feel about it.
- Brian Barber spoke yesterday about the upcoming draft, not really giving many answers about the team’s plans.
- If you remember Travis Jankowski’s “bad day at the office”, you’ll recognize the truth that he has gotten a lot better lately.
MLB news:
- Trevor Bauer’s administrative leave has been extended another 7 days. Methinks it’ll end up being longer.
- The MLB draft has gone to a 20-round affair and that changes things for college baseball.
- Sounds like the losing streak that the Cubs just ended has changed what their front office plans on doing at the trade deadline.
- Donnie Baseball will be back in Miami in 2022. Begrudgingly, you have to admit that in his shoes, Mattingly has been pretty good there.
