Is it too much to ask for a victory today? The Phillies are playing a team that is currently 24 games under .500. They rank at the bottom of nearly every category except beating NL East teams trying to win the division. They just traded away nearly every semblance of major league talent in order to rebuild the organization from the ground up....and they still beat the Phillies. Outclassing, out hitting, out hustling, out everything the Phillies.
Now the Phillies will send their newest trade acquisition to the mound to try and stop the pain, to try and salvage at least a game from this series. Here are the lineups. For the Phillies:

THIS IS NOT A LINEUP THAT SHOULD BEAT THE PHILLIES!!!!!!!!
Let’s talk about it. Or commiserate. Or just cry openly together.
Go Phils.
