Scranton/WB 5, Lehigh Valley 2

Jose Alvarado - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, BB, K
Mark Appel - 2.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, BB, 2 K, HR, HBP, 2 GB, 1 FB
Seranthony Dominguez - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 K, WP
Rafael Marchan - 1 for 3, R, BB
Alec Bohm - 0 for 4, K
Mickey Moniak - 0 for 2, RBI, BB, K
Matt Vierling - 1 for 4, K, CS
Nick Maton - 2 for 4, R, 2B, 3B, K
Cornelius Randolph - 0 for 3, 3 K (fielding error)

The lineup of broken things and misfit toys. Rehab by Alvarado and Dominguez. The former hit 99 on the gun, which is a good sign. The latter, though while giving up a run, struck out the side not in order. The rest of the folks listed above have all spent some time with the big club with varying degrees of success (outside of Randolph). Bohm’s first game since his demotion was a dud. Though I’m sure his replacement at the MLB level helped spark the offense for the Phillies.

Reading 7, Portland 3

Colton Eastman - 3 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 3 K, HR, 4 GB, 1 FB
Josh Hendrickson - 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 8 K, 4 GB, 5 FB
Bryson Stott - 2 for 5, R, RBI, 2 K
Jhailyn Ortiz - 1 for 4, HR, 2 RBI, K
Josh Stephen - 1 for 5, R, 3 K
Madison Stokes - 3 for 4, 3 R, 3 2B, K

Colton Eastman continues to stretch himself back out to a start following his lengthy IL stint. Josh Hendrickson with most impressive outing of the season, striking out a season-high 8 batters. Jhailyn Ortiz added his 4th AA HR and 23rd overall this season. Stott’s two hits raised his AA slash to .293/.354/.479 in 259 at-bats.

Jersey Shore 9, Wilmington 8 (F/13)

Jhordany Mezquita - 4.1 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, BB, K, 2 HBP, 5 GB, 5 FB
Vito Friscia - 1 for 7, R, 3 K
Logan O’Hoppe - 2 for 6, 2 R, RBI
Adam Haseley - 4 for 6, 2 R
DJ Stewart - 2 for 4, HR, 4 RBI, BB
Ben Pelletier - 2 for 6, 3B, HR, 2 RBI, K
Nicolas Torres - 1 for 4

A wild back and forth game last night that saw the BlueClaws tie the game at 6 in the 8th to eventually force extra innings. The two teams would trade runs in the 10th and 12th before Jersey Shore would score the eventual wining run in the top of the 13th via a Torres sac-bunt and throwing error. DJ Stewart hit his 10th High-A homer and 13th overall this season. Pelletier hit his 1st, a two-run blast that tied it in the 8th. Adam Haseley, still somehow rehabbing in High-A, had himself a 4-hit game.
