The Phillies head to the nation’s capital for a three game series against the skeleton of the Washington Nationals. Sure they have Juan Soto still, but this team is pretty devoid of talent. At least they acknowledge that and called up Keibert Ruiz, their top prospect (who was acquired in the Max Scherzer trade).

This could be the game in the series that the Nationals give the Phillies a good fight. Josiah Gray is a really talented dude and he’ll be throwing to Ruiz, who is a really good catching prospect.
