The Phillies and Nationals will wrap up a four-game series late Thursday afternoon. The Phillies have won the first three, so by my calculations, if they win today, they will have swept the series. A win would also give them five in a row, matching their longest streak of the season to date.
Aaron Nola will be on the mound for the Phillies. Considering how often the Phillies play their division rivals, it was surprising to learn that this will actually be Nola’s first start against the Nats this season.
