Look, they’ve already lost two games in Miami. Call it destiny, call it fate, whatever you want to call it, we were all prepared for the possibility that it would happen. Were we ready for the manager to gift wrap the game for the Marlins? If you’ve been watching this season, then the answer should be “yes”.
Today, though, the Phillies have a chance to take a game that they need. While it’s still a bullpen game, there is still the chance that the merry-’go-round philosophy will catch the Marlins offguard enough that the Phillies slink out of South Florida with at least a win.
