Spring Training Postivie Suprises and disapointments

Postitives: Bohm has greatly improved his defense and is beginning to show signs of hitting. He makes the team. I would Platton hin at 3B VL with Stott VR. Stott has been great all spring. Platoon him at SS VL with DiDi VR. DiDilooks good now that he is healthy. Play him at SS VR. The Bullpen is much improved and could be one of the Phillies' strengths this year. Moniak deserves a spot. Platoon him at CF VR with Vierling. Alvarado appears to be healthy. He makes the bullpen even better. Disappointments: Camargo is a waste of money. Get rid of him. If you want another backup infielder, promote Maton instead. Nola keeps giving up home runs. Gibson is iffy at times. I like Falter and Sanchez better as the fifth starter. If Gibson starts, Falter and Sanchez should be ready to step in early in the game if Gibson does poorly. Wheller should be the number 1 starter not Nola on this team. Schwarber is not a lead-off man. He needs to be more toward the middle or lower-middle of the lineup. Herrera's injury makes him expendable when he recovers. No place to play him on this team with Moniak making the team. My preferred lineup VR is 1) Moniak CF (get on base and use speed), 2) Segura 2b (move Moniak along and get on base, lots of 1st and 3rd opportunities), 3) (Harper RF (drive in 1, 2, and bottom of the order hitters and get on base for middle line up.) 4) Catellanous LF or DH, (drive in runs, get on base), 5) DH or LF Schwarber,(drive in runs), 6)C Realmuto (drive in runs, get on base and use speed,) 7) 1B Hopkins (drive in runs),8) SS DiDi, 9) 3B Stott reset the table for 3,4, 5 hitters. Line up VL 1) CF Vierling (get on base and use speed), 2) Segura 2b (move Vierling along and get on base, lots of 1st and 3rd opportunities), 3) Harper RF (Drive in 1, 2, and bottom of the order hitters and get on base for middle line up.) 4) Catellanous LF or DH, (drive in runs, get on base), 5)C Realmuto (drive in runs, get on base and use speed,)6)1B Hopkins (drive in runs), 7)DH or LF Schwarber,(drive in runs), 8)3B Bohm (drive in runs, 9)SS Stott reset the table for 3,4, 5 hitters. Both of these lineups should score runs. Due o the DH and the short spring, the pitching dept is likely to be more important than extra backup fielders. You just do not pinch-hit or make many lineup changes with the DH.
