There aren’t many more frustrating things than a baseball team that struggles with runners in scoring position. It feels like there’s always a chance but then they find a way to squander it in such a fashion that makes you want to headbutt a wall. That’s been the Phillies for a good chunk of this season and those issues reared their ugly head again last night. Their offense simply needs to get better at driving in runs when they are available, and that starts with their struggling stars.
