2024 Hall of Fame Election

My picks for this year are: 1) Todd Helton 1B .316 lifte time average 369 Home Runs, 1406 RBIs, .414 OPB,853 OPS 2)Billy Wagner Relief Pitcher 2.31 era, 422 Saves 1196 K, 0.998 Whip The Hall of Fame tends to overlook relief pitchers, but Wagner should be in the Hall of Fame in my opinion. 3) Joe Mauer Catcher .306 lifetime average, 143 Home Runs, .388 OBP, .827 OPS, 52 SB The following I would not elect and why> Adrian Beltré 0BP .339 is too low Andruw Jones .254 Batting Ave and .337 obp too low There are others on the list that stand out including Chase Utley. Utley, however, comes up short in my opinion .275 lifetime Ave (low), .358 obp Low, I liked Utley when he played for the Phillies and he still is one of the best second basemen ever to ply for the Phillies. His numbers declined starting in 2015 and that hurts him.
